About Me
Eldest daughter in an immigrant family and a first-generation student. Born in Saigon, raised in San Diego, now in Los Angeles. I grew up translating for my family, first languages, then the systems and technology that weren't built with them in mind.

Why Design
I see design as translation. On one side is technology, complicated by nature. On the other is human behavior, which looks simple and is anything but. Design is the layer that lets them understand each other, and it goes well beyond how something looks.
I enjoy work that sits at the intersection of design, technology, and strategy. The kind where creative decisions have real business consequences.

I believe craft is shaped by what you care about off the clock.
